3 Zodiacs Who Should Learn To Go With The Flow During Jupiter Retrograde In Gemini (10/9)

Brace yourselves, folks—Jupiter is starting its retrograde!

Don’t worry, though; despite the largest planet entering a retrograde period, this isn’t a bad thing. Retrogrades ask us to slow down and sit with our thoughts and feelings, determining why we are doing things rather than remaining in auto-pilot mode. Naturally, Jupiter has a significant impact as it’s the planet of expansion and abundance, so slowing down can benefit us here.

However, Jupiter is in the sign of fast-paced, witty Gemini, which isn’t a fan of slowing things down. So far, Jupiter in Gemini has been expanding how we communicate and what information we take into account. As the retrograde occurs from October 9th through February 4th, 2025, we have some time on our hands to sit with these themes and figure out what is in our best interest.

All of the zodiac signs will experience Jupiter in Retrograde’s effects. Still, three signs in particular should focus on going with the flow and not clinging too tightly to their experiences. Check your signs below (Rising and Sun!) to see which signs need to learn to go with the flow during Jupiter Retrograde in Gemini.

Gemini

Gemini, asking you to go with the flow seems unnecessary, but you should be more intentional with this idea during Jupiter in retrograde. This event occurs in your 1st House of Self and Identity, pushing you to question everything you know about yourself and how you want to come across to the world. You may feel more uncertain about where you want to go, or paths you’ve been working on may feel more unsteady—obstacles you weren’t anticipating may come to light, delaying your progress and dimming your enthusiasm. Rather than sinking into despair, it’s worth embracing uncertainty and letting it open your perspective. Slowing down and analyzing your thoughts and where they stem from can help you determine whether you’re truly lost or just in a haze that hasn’t lifted yet. Time is key, but running around like a chicken with its head cut off won’t benefit you—be patient and give yourself grace during this period.

Capricorn

You can be rigid, Capricorn, especially when building a routine and structure you enjoy. However, Jupiter in retrograde will shake things up for you whether you’re ready or not—-so it’s time to get on board. Jupiter has been expanding your 6th House of Habits, Routines, and Wellness, which may have broadened your ideas of what this area of life looks like for you. Now, you may start doubling back on some of your choices, questioning your knowledge or understanding of certain schedules, habits, and how you care for yourself. Part of you will want to bury yourself in work and tasks to take your mind off the situation and focus on what you can “do,” burnout is inevitable if you can’t sit with your thoughts and address what you need. It’s worth asking yourself what is beneficial (and what you want) to take on rather than accepting every single opportunity that comes your way out of FOMO. On top of this, you’ll want to be prepared for things to not go according to plan. Get your improvisational skills ready—-you’re going to need them!

Libra

You’ve been feeling adventurous, Libra, but it’s time to change your line of thinking. As Jupiter has been moving through your 9th House of Higher Education, Travel, and Philosophy, it’s no surprise you’ve been exploring different ways to expand your worldview. You may have travel plans on the horizon or have started with new classes and experiences to understand things on a deeper level. However, as the retrograde occurs, you may recognize the need to explore your decisions and figure out what resonates with you rather than what is available to you. Rather than rushing out, you may decide to brainstorm and ponder before making any rash decisions. However, this could throw a wrench in already established travel plans or the idea of how certain explorations and studies play out, meaning you should have a backup plan ready in case things change. It’s worth taking time to figure out what matters to you and helps you get out of your comfort zone, so be open to the possibilities. Don’t assume your first try at everything will equal success or a perfect fit.
