How Empaths Love Differently
For empaths, love is unlike any other feeling. Itās deep and earnest. If you know an empath, you know they love differently ā and damn it is beautiful the way they do. Anyone would be lucky to love and be loved by them.
Empaths are the kind of people who can quite easily sense the feelings of others. Theyāre deeply in tune with their emotions and have no problem expressing them. They can feel the slightest shifts in someoneās moods, just by how they speak or move. Empaths will take on those feelings and carry them like one of their own burdens.
Empaths love with an incredible passion.
They will understand their partner and how they want to be loved and do it with courage and conviction. They will sense the moods of their partner and will know how to handle them. Despite how deeply they love, it wonāt be suffocating. They will know when to pull back and give less to their partner when they sense (from their partner) that they need to.
Empaths are givers.
They are devoted, selfless creatures. They often put their partner and their needs before their own ā itās what they do best. Itās just in their nature for them to give their time, energy, and affection to someone ā or anyone, really. They give so much of themselves to people, even if those people are undeserving.
Empaths need time alone.
No matter how much they love someone and love spending time with them, they will often need time alone. They feel a lot of emotions ā their own and of others ā and it can be quite draining. Empaths need time away to be in their own space so that when they come back, they will be their best, fullest selves.
Empaths hurt deeper than others do.
Empaths feel emotions so intensely, which means when theyāre hurting, they hurt deeply. Heartbreak is a familiar feeling for them, but it still aches every time. They will become distant and will want to spend time alone. While it might seem like they donāt want anyone to bother them, they actually do want someone to check up on them. They want someone to care enough. They want to know theyāre cared for and loved, too.
