I need you to break your own heart. Go ahead and let it hurt. Let it hurt for something you haven’t lost yet because you are barely grasping it in the first place.

I need you to break your own heart, because when they are silent it’s deafening enough to draw tears from your eyes. I need you to break your own heart because you cannot keep sitting in confusion. 

I need you to break your own heart because you are responsible for your own happiness. Don’t place any blame on their shoulders because they should not have the power to take away your smile. 

Do you know how much you have endured to get to the point of bliss? Then you decided to move towards someone who gives you butterflies and uncertainty at the same time? It is better to break your own heart now than to sit and wait for someone else to do it. Rip off the band-aid and deal with the pain. Because you ARE worthy of someone who doesn’t make you sit and wonder. You ARE deserving of someone who doesn’t make you feel like you’re walking on eggshells. You ARE worthy of someone that doesn’t treat you differently each day of the week. Break your own heart please. Because the deeper you dive, the harder it’s going to be to swim back to the surface. 

Break your own heart because you worked so hard to get to where you are to let it be crushed by someone that doesn’t care for you in the same manner you do them.
