Their path has nothing to do with your own, even though you might have trouble separating the two.

You need to start giving yourself more credit, treating yourself with more love and kindness. You are so much more talented than you realize, and you are brimming with potential. Think about it. You’ve already come further than you thought you ever could. You can keep that momentum going. It’s natural to have doubts and to feel discouraged when your hopes aren’t working out, but that isn’t a sign you should quit. If you want this, keep fighting.
