When Love Knocks Again

Her heart was pierced and restless,

And yet it still survived.

The tears she shed have dried too soon,

They were replaced with smiles.

Recalled the time her heart was cracked,

It didn’t bleed that much.

God’s healing touch was powerful,

True love found her at last!

That day she went to church and wept,

She cried with all her might.

She asked God to hold her heart for now,

As she fulfills her vow.

God took her heart for safeguard,

She felt the bliss and peace.

“Let no man claim it from You, Oh Lord!

Please God, do not release!”

A sincere and heartfelt thanks she offered,

to the great Creator above.

He lifted, hugged, and carried her.

And so, she felt protected and loved.

Then, one day, she heard love knocked again.

As if she never heard at all!

Love knocks at her very own door,

He wishes to enter,

She said, “No more!”

She told love, “No, not this time,

For I don’t have the key.

You may try your luck with others,

For the key is not with me.”

Love did not leave and stayed outside,

With hope and faith, he will endure.

The Keyholder will grant permission,

Love is secure, 100% sure!

The lady’s heart woke up to see,

A great love waiting patiently.

She asked the Keyholder “Who is this LOVE?

What does he want from me?”

The Keyholder smiled and replied,

“Do not worry my dear.

Love is patient. Love is kind.”

His intentions are pure and clear.”

Her heart whispered in silence,

God knows what’s right or wrong.

She will not doubt nor question His plans,

God sees her journey all along.

So when Love said “HI!” to her,

The lady’s heart said “HELLO!”

That day marked the start of friendship,

Until love starts to grow.

Both prayed and asked for God’s mercy

To pour upon their blessed souls.

Soon, they will no longer be apart.

Someday, God will unite these two hearts.
