4 Birth Months Who Work The Hardest (And Always See Results)

August

Those born in August have been taking themselves seriously at a time when everyone else has decided to write them. They have consistently shown up, done the work, shook peopleโ€™s hands, and put themselves out there day after exhausting, excruciating, and embarrassing day, hoping that finally, somehow their persistence and dedication would pay off. All it takes is one break, one opportunity, one person who sees what you see in yourself, for the tides to change. I cannot impress upon you enough the importance, as crazy as it seems, of enjoying this struggle. There is pleasure to be found in fighting the good fight, and as soon as itโ€™s won, you will find yourself missing that energy you uncovered in the striving. In the not knowing and still trying anyway.

December

There will come a day, where you are still dealing with the same bullshit youโ€™re working through today. Anxiety and dread and taxes and personalities that just donโ€™t mesh with your own and rules that donโ€™t really seem to make any sense. But youโ€™ll pour yourself a glass of wine, and sit outside at the end of the day, listening to the wind and some birds, wearing an outfit you like, and remembering all the things youโ€™ve bought and done and experienced with the money youโ€™ve made. The money you earned and worked and struggled for. And even though itโ€™s not perfect, and likely never will be, youโ€™ll find the little moments like this where you remember everything youโ€™re getting in your half of the trade and smile.

June

You do so much more emotional and mental heavy lifting than anyone ever notices or appreciates, because you arrange it that way. You minimize and diminish and make it look effortless. But the day you funnel that energy into yourself, into your own well-being and mental health, is the day you start reaping the rewards of your own effort. Donโ€™t just carry that baggage around as some sort of proof to the universe that you can. Unpack it, go through it, learn something about yourself that deserves to be seen and heard and acknowledged. Let go of some of that weight. Youโ€™ll realize that this work, the emotional labor, is much harder and more impressive than serving as your own pack mule.ย

March

You asked the hard questions of yourself March โ€“ โ€˜What do I want?โ€™ and โ€˜What do I need?โ€™ And when you took the time to really dig deep for the answers, you did something with that information. You made calls, you typed into your search bar. You asked friends, and took notes, and gave things a chance to change. And like seeds in your own little garden, these ideas took root and sprouted into a life you get to call your own. You did the soul searching. You made the transformation. And now itโ€™s your turn to enjoy the happiness and the fullness and the friendships and the career and the safety and stability. This is what you cultivated for yourself. This is what you grew.
