Be My Cat: A Film For Anne (2016)

4 Zodiacs Who Only Pretend To Hate Scary Movies

Cancer

You often define yourself by your sensitivity. That’s great! There’s nothing wrong with having deep, complicated feelings. Sometimes you underestimate yourself, though. You assume you can’t handle scary movies because of your personality or maybe because you were scarred by them as a kid. But think back to the times when you actually watched one. The odds are very good that you weren’t as much of a scaredy cat as you think you are. You can be sensitive and a badass at the same time–those things aren’t mutually exclusive.

Libra

You know full well that you don’t find horror movies all that scary. You aren’t exactly the most cowardly sign in the zodiac. But are you willing to tell any potential partners that you’re a horror movie badass? No, thank you. You’d prefer to pretend to get frightened by every sound and jump scare so you can use it as an excuse to cuddle up to your date. It’s all a part of the game, right? Or–and here’s a wild idea–you could live your truth and admit you don’t need anyone to save you from the scares on the screen.

Sagittarius

You’re not afraid–and you’ll make that abundantly clear if anyone asks. That’s not the problem. Instead, you say you don’t “have time” or these movies aren’t “refined” enough for you. But when you’re scrolling through Netflix or Prime on the rare Saturday night when you’ve got the house to yourself, you’ll totally watch a low-brow slasher flick and have a great time doing it. After all, horror sub-genres are so broad, there really is something for everyone. Embrace the fact that you love horror. No one is going to think any less of you for it. (And if they do, they aren’t worth your time anyway.)

Pisces

When you think of watching horror movies, you envision being shivering in a dark room alone as gory scenes of death and dismemberment flash on the screen. You find the idea terrifying, and it’s true. Alone, you hate horror movies. But the more people you add to the room, the less likely you are to hate the idea of watching them. Horror movie marathons are actually a ton of fun at Halloween parties. Maybe it’s time to stop saying you hate horror movies and instead amend that statement with a “but I’ll watch one with you anyway.”
