Ahh, beautiful summer, the season of renewal. It’s when the freshness of spring gives way to the blooming of life under the warm sun. Bees buzz, birds chirp, flowers blossom, and the sun shines high in the sky. It is also the season of passion, enchantment, and affairs of the heart.

The following five birth months will all experience sudden shockwaves in their romantic lives this summer. Although it’s easy to get carried away by the thrills that new love can bring, they should proceed with caution. It’s easy to fall in love, but if you’re not careful, it’s also easy to fall off a cliff.

1. April

Leading the pack every year is April. A fire sign (signaling passion), April is ruled by Mars, the planet of eros and energy. Right at the beginning of summer this year, Venus—the planet of love and beauty—will pass through April. So it’s a passionate sign ruled by planets that govern sex and romance at the beginning of summer. Romance will wait around every corner for those born in April this summer, breezing through the air like freshly unleashed pollen spores.
