Where do you draw inspiration from?

My article inspiration comes from observing the relationships around me and how those feelings are often universal but unspoken. My poems are a gentle highlighting of the small moments in being human, from the inherently messy to the beautifully simple.

You’re hosting a dinner party this Friday and can invite five people. The catch: These diners can be anyone, dead or alive. You also don’t need to know them IRL. That said, who are you having over?

Taylor Swift, Emily Dickinson, Robin Williams, Virginia Woolf, and Elton John.

What was the last thing you read that moved you?

The Glass Castle by Jeannette Walls. It’s a beautiful narrative on resilience, family, and the joy of the human spirit.

If AIM was still A Thing, what would your away message be?

Probably something whimsical and bookish, like “Adventuring through the pages of life, be back soon!”

What would the title of your memoir be?

Renaissance, because I’m constantly “rebirthing” my identity and growing into whoever I want to be next.

How would your best friend describe you?

Thoughtful, kind, dependable. Essentially the one with a heart full of kindness and a head full of dreams.

Favorite word, and why?

Serendipity. It’s a charming word that describes those unexpected, delightful moments that life brings our way. It’s also just really fun to say.

If you could give one piece of advice to everyone in the world, what would you say?

Embrace the beauty of imperfection. Just like a well-loved book, our lives are full of dog-eared pages, highlighted passages, and the occasional coffee stain. These are the marks of a life well-lived, and they make the story uniquely yours.
