We can take care of ourselves. Plenty of people feel like they’re independent, but you can never really know for sure unless you spend time alone. Women who live alone have proven that they can do anything without the help of others. We know we can take care of ourselves because we do it every day. We don’t have roommate drama. Nothing kills the mood like listening to your girlfriend complain, yet again, about how her roommate stole her food and never does the dishes. We won’t move in with you unless we really want to. Once you get a taste of living alone, there’s no turning back. The only way a woman who has experienced that kind of independence will even think of living with someone else is if it’s the real deal. You can know that we aren’t living with you because of necessity or because we can’t be alone. We’re living with you because we’ve finally found someone worth sharing space in both our homes and our hearts.
