I Hope You Choose A Genuine Relationship Over An Instagram Highlight Reel

I hope you don’t listen to society dictating your standards when it comes to having a relationship. Standards that are over the top and don’t seem very realistic. Social media can create an idea in our heads of a seemingly perfect life and relationships that we tend to seek out in our real-life relationships. They can make you very unappreciative of your partner just because they don’t seem like the ones you see on your Instagram feed. But that doesn’t mean they aren’t good for you. That doesn’t mean they aren’t able to make you feel loved and supported. Remember, those photos are just highlight reels. Life behind the camera is what you need to focus on.

Someone who is not scared of who they really are but will be very open with you about their past, flaws, and everything in between. Because loving you requires them being completely honest to you, and you to them. It’s a matter of trust and acceptance from both parties.
