Something in your life has been stuck, Cancer, and like the battle I had with my ice maker this week, it’s driving you insane. You’re going to have to get creative and commit to the battle, even when it seems completely pointless. In my case, that looked like alternating rounds with a blow dryer and butter knife turned ice pick until I could pry that ice holder free from where it had frozen to its base. Whatever it is in your life that needs metaphorical liberation, you have to understand the problem before you can find the solution, and then you have to trust your own understanding. It’s nerve-grating and patience-testing, but I promise you, once you’re on the other side of the problem, a new life chapter of reduced friction is waiting for you.
SCORPIO
There is a problem underneath your problem, Scorpio, and for someone with as many layers as an onion, that shouldn’t come as a shock. You’ve been having a hard time relaxing, everything is rubbing you the wrong way, and you have been waking up every day on the figurative wrong side of the bed. While it’s your choice whether you chalk it up to the traffic, or an aversion to crowds, or simply an inability to tolerate humidity, or you could look inside for the possible source of emotional turmoil. You could confront your fears and insecurities, because those have solutions you actually can control. And that life chapter? The one where you tackle everything head one? It’s the most exciting, the most rewarding, and has, frankly, the happiest ending.
CAPRICORN
You’re preoccupied with time, Capricorn. There’s never enough to finish your never-ending to-do list, to soak up love from the people who know you best, or to explore this wide, wonderful globe, so something, inevitably, has to get sacrificed in the process. And this herculean task, which the world casually labels “prioritization” is sending you into a paralyzing doom spiral. You can’t let anyone down, or deal with the FOMO, but you don’t realize that by refusing to make a decision, you’re actually putting one into effect. You can’t live life like there’s a bomb clock ticking next to you, where every moment brings you closer to impending doom, but you also don’t have unlimited time. You have to learn to live somewhere in between those two truths. And when you do, that’s when your greatest life chapter yet begins.
TAURUS
You’ve been betrayed by someone close to you, Taurus, someone you thought you could trust with everything. The mental gymnastics of holding them accountable while trying to figure out just where you went wrong in judging their character is unbearable. The truth is you read the signs correctly. You counted the green flags, and weren’t filtering out any red ones along the way. Sometimes, the people we care about most make mistakes. Sometimes, we have to watch the people we love deliberately hurt us, and we don’t get to console ourselves by pretending it was an accident. Where you go from here, in terms of boundaries, trust, and forgiveness is up to you. As hard as it is, you can’t read the book of life backwards. A chapter you cherished has ended, and the only thing left to do is move forward.
