4 Zodiacs Who Love Being The Anti-Hero

Leo

As represented by their ruling planet, the Sun, Leo’s naturally love being the center of attention. It’s hard to resist their gravitational pull upon first contact. Once you’re caught in their orbit, it’s hard to escape it. Like the solar flares of the sun, Leo’s can become unpredictable once they suspect you’ll take away their spotlight. They don’t like this. So they burst with a kind of energy that affects those around them deeply. We love the warmth of the sun but when it becomes too hot, we turn away from them. Bad idea. Leos hate this. What makes them the anti-hero is that most of the time they are well aware of their toxic nature but they don’t necessarily see it as a bad thing. They justify their need for love, adoration, and attention in a way that makes them believe that they’re always the good guy and doing what is right even if this is objectively not the case. Don’t think just because day has become night you are safe from their light. Though we can’t always see the sun, he never stops shining. Behind your back, Leos may gossip and dismantle your credibility. But this is not to say that all Leos are bad. Like I said, they believe that they are justified in doing so. The trick is to learn how to communicate with these anti-heroes and understand their nature. Similar to how we’ve learned how to understand both the positive and negative aspects of the Sun. Leos are no different.

Scorpio

Death becomes the Scorpio. They embody the spirit of the great equalizer, death. Many paint the Scorpio as inherently evil in the same way they view death as evil. But death is what it is. It is not good or bad, it is just a fact of life. Scorpios understand this and that is why at times they can put others off. Often they don’t believe in good or bad. They can be quite the nihilist and because of that, this puts many people off. While most of us believe in objective good and objective bad, that is not what Scorpio believes. To quote Frederich Nietzsche “To live is to suffer. To suffer is to find some meaning in the suffering.” This is their worldview. Scorpios take pleasure in humbling others’ happiness. Believing it to be silly at times. They embody the archetype of the anti-hero because on the alignment chart, they lie at neutral neutral. They are motivated by their own interests and couldn’t care less if you are bothered by this. At the end of the day, when we finally do pass on, it’s not your regret they have to live with, it’s their own.

Gemini

Split right down the middle between good and evil. Love and hate. When it comes to the individual Gemini, whether they are the good guy are the bad guy is a toss-up. When dealing with their shadowy nature, it’s almost like coming across a completely different person. Like Dr. Jeckyll and Mr. Hyde. Gemini’s are incredibly hard to read because when they are being kind and generous and loving, they mean everything they say and do. That’s why it’s so easy for them to win over your trust. But once they flip and the shadow consumes them, you look into the same eyes and yet are unable to recognize the person staring back. They revel in this. They love catching others by surprise. To them, it’s a game. However, what makes them so complex is that these split personalities don’t get along. One side is always battling the other side. When their shadow nature comes out, that goodness within them is screaming, trying to claw its way out and take control. And when they can suppress that darker aspect of their nature, it’s not long until this darkness consumes their light.

Taurus

The self-proclaimed “tortured poet”. Taurus carry a great emotional pain and longing with them from birth. But the source of this pain is oftentimes a mystery. There is turmoil built within them. It’s as true to their nature as the color of their eyes. As indicated by the assigned Tarot card, the Hierophant, those born under this sign are inherently spiritual and pay close attention to the ways of the universe. They see the world not just for what it is, but understand the inner spiritual workings. Reading the synchronicities and the writings on the wall. But with so much awareness comes the heavy burden of knowing. Knowing that both good and evil exist equally not just in the world but within each and every one of us. No one is born good or bad, we just learn to suppress our shadow sides but Taurus is no stranger to embracing their shadow. They revel in it. Why? Because they understand that they’re only human. This is why people follow them, because you say it as it is. Like the sermon, they can articulate what we feel but do not understand. Taurus are either benevolent or have the potential to become cult leaders through the words they choose. They know this. Many peace leaders and dictators have been born Taurus and the path one chooses all depends on whether or not the world has been kind. Most Taurus start with good intentions but once life has unfairly beaten them down time and time again, that is when the shadow side reveals itself. As if to say “Fine, I’ll be the bad guy if that’s what you want.”
