4 Zodiacs Who Should Ignore Everyone’s Advice This Week (May 22 – 28)

Some of us go to friends or family when we’re at a crossroads. They give us good insight that we might not have realized. But some of us might rely on those people a little too much. Others know that their opinion is often better than the advice they get from people. For the following four zodiac signs, listen to your heart this week, and not other people’s advice. (I realize the irony in giving you advice to not take someone’s advice, but here we are!)

You often go to people for advice about your life. Maybe your job is wearing you down or your love life isn’t how you want it to be. You know the problem, but the solution eludes you. So you go to your friends and ask them for ideas. Here’s the problem: You almost never actually take their advice. It’s to the point where they don’t really want to give it to you anymore. This week, instead of asking people for help, figure out what you actually want. You’ve had the power to make these changes all along.

The over-analysis you do before making any decision–even something as little as sending a text–is legendary. Not only will you agonize over it for what feels like ages, you’ll also go to literally everyone you know for their input as well. While you sometimes get really good advice when you go this route, you’re doing yourself a disservice. This week, skip asking people for their advice and just do what feels right. It’ll be a good exercise in trusting your gut.

Unlike some of the other zodiac signs on this list, you’re already pretty good at ignoring advice. You like to go by the beat of your own drum, but what you should watch out for this week is the unsolicited advice. Everyone has opinions, and some people in your life will share that unasked-for opinion regardless of how you feel. There’s a danger that what they have to stay will stick with you and make you feel insecure about something that probably wouldn’t have otherwise crossed your mind. Do your best to ignore it. You’re doing just fine.

Have you heard the adage, “Don’t ask questions if you don’t want the answer?” While you like to discuss issues with people to get their perspective, you’re sometimes a little too sensitive to hear something that goes against how you’re already feeling. If you’ll be upset if someone tells you you’re wrong or should do something differently, don’t ask. Only ask for advice if you’re feeling secure enough to handle the answer.
