4 Zodiacs Realigning With Their Narrative Destinies In August

Astrology often gets accused of stereotyping the different zodiac signs, but as an English girlie, I like to think of them more in terms of archetypes. Characters and characteristics with symbolic story arcs whose patterns can shed light on our own personal journeys. As we head into August, these four signs are getting “back on track” with their own narrative destinies, realigning spiritually with the ways they are being tasked to grow and evolve as individuals.

Gemini

Gemini, your narrative destiny is all about time management and productivity. You have to do the soul searching required to figure out why you feel the need to outperform and overcompensate in every setting. Because you take this blanket approach to every aspect of your life, you burn out too quickly, and carry the fatigue and frustration with you everywhere you go.

But as you progress along your own personal hero’s journey, you will learn about prioritization and personal satisfaction. About carving out time for the things that really matter to you, which, you will only truly discover through trial and error, but once you do, that’s where you zero in, where you pull a strategic all-nighter, where you push yourself to your limits, not to people please, but to prove something important to yourself.

You can go the distance. But you need to stop wasting gas on detours and errands for people who take you for granted or should have prepared better. You can and will reclaim your power by establishing healthy boundaries.

Libra

Libra your narrative destiny is a reckoning with justice. It’s maturing and realizing that simply “following the rules” isn’t enough to guarantee you, or anyone else a fair shake at life. It’s deconstructing your beliefs, your education, and your inherited moral code, and realizing you get to decide what stays and what goes.

Along the way, you will learn to let go of unnecessary shame, and relinquish self-criticism. In its place you will gain confidence, peace of mind, and courage. You will witness, and then reenact the heroic feat of standing up for yourself, and more importantly others, and you will surround yourself with people whose conscience drives them to do the same.

It’s going to take some adjusting, and you might feel rocked by the initial shake up to your world’s familiar order. But like architecture, any moral structure should be able to withstand a stress test. When and if it doesn’t, it’s time to rebuild.

Taurus

Taurus, your narrative destiny is about finding your worth. You are blessed with natural taste, which means people value and seek out your opinion, but you’ve long struggled with how to put those skills to good use. You devalue yourself, feeling a connoisseur can never match up against a real artist, without realizing even the masters need good marketing. Why else do you think so many artists are only appreciated after their deaths? Not by choice, certainly.

You are a curator, and just like any good museum, that requires organization, storytelling, and deep understanding. You have to “sell” the idea to other people, capture their attention, and draw them in to whatever you want them to share in your appreciation for. You may not create the artwork, but you certainly put together the spectacle around it.

But your narrative destiny isn’t to convince other people of something’s worth, it’s for you to finally believe, once and for all, in your own. And the only way you’ll get there is by being brave enough to put your own name on the valuable work you do.

Scorpio

Scorpio, your narrative destiny is all about interpersonal relationships. It’s about really examining your ability to seduce others, and asking yourself life’s hardest questions. Do I really care if this person likes me? What would it look like if someone was trying equally hard to win me over? What would it mean to find chemistry that is mutually effortless?

In many ways, everyone goes through a watered-down version of your journey, Scorpio, but the depths of your understanding of human nature make you especially equipped to play through this experience on the “Super Hard” setting. Because you’re not simply learning who isn’t meant for you—you see the exact reasons for the incompatibility. The psychology, the insecurity, and every naked flaw laid bare. You see the whole equation.

And when love isn’t just some magic trick, doesn’t just magically appear out of thin air, when you see every misdirection and slight of hand required to arrive at the same result—a bright smile lit up by eyes full of hope, you start to lose faith in it altogether. You need someone who is going to treat it like a science experiment or an invention. Someone who is willing to work through the whole complicated equation to produce something just as awe inspiring and magical, and I promise you can find them.
