Here’s How To Find Your Tarot Birth Card

Did you know that, according to numerology, everyone has a guiding tarot card? You can find it using your birthday – and you’ll often find that using this tarot card to give you additional insights into your personal life and personality can be extremely insightful. You can also couple your tarot birth card with your birth chart; this can give you detailed information about your true self.

Finding your birth tarot card is simple. It is guaranteed to be in the Major Arcana: the twenty-two cards in the tarot deck that are named.

You’ll first use numerology to calculate your birth number. First, add up all of the numbers in your birthday together. If you were born on December 7th, 1999, you would calculate: 12 + 7 + 1 + 9 + 9 + 9, which equals 47.

But you’ll need to continue a little further to get your actual numerology ‘life path’ number. You should also add 4 + 7 to get 11. This is because, in numerology, birth numbers are supposed to be single digit – except when you receive the numbers 11, 22, or 33.

For calculating your birth tarot card, however, you can simply reduce your birthday until you reach a number within the Major Arcana. The Major Arcana has 22 cards, all of which are numbered (sometimes excluding the Fool).

Continuing with the above example, if you were to receive 11 as your reduced number, your birth tarot card would be Justice.

If you continue following numerology in this manner, you can find even more guidance within the tarot deck. Some prefer to pull directly from the date of their birth if it is already single-digit. Some choose to add only the two digits of their birth date together, while others will add the month as well. Depending on the results you get from the numbers that are important to you, there could be several tarot cards that speak to you and your personality.

Once you have uncovered your birth tarot card, look out for it. It may be a card that frequently appears to you, or it may have special meaning when you do pull it in your readings.

It can be useful to recognize your birth tarot card – when it appears, it is likely that the deck is trying to give you a meaningful message. Knowing that a tarot card is your birth card could change your interpretation of the deck’s guidance slightly.
