What Each Zodiac Sign Can Expect From The New Moon In Scorpio

The New Moon in Scorpio is upon us, and it’s prepared to make some waves.

On November 13th at 4:27 a.m. (EST), the New Moon will be at its height in Scorpio—a sign of depth, mystery, and unafraid of exploring all things taboo. New Moons offer a fresh start for us and bring to light things we may have been dwelling on during this season but haven’t quite dug deeper into.

Scorpio season is already in full swing, and in addition to the Sun and Moon, Mars is also in the sign of Scorpio, adding some extra intensity and aggression to an already powerful lunar experience. With Mars being the planetary ruler of Scorpio, this can also enhance the clarity surrounding these topics. Additionally, Uranus, the planet of originality and freedom, is forming an opposition to this New Moon, causing some tension and disruption in the process.

Check out the signs below (Sun and Rising!) to see how this New Moon in Scorpio will affect each zodiac sign.

Aries

This New Moon is appearing in your 8th House of Shared Resources, Intimacy, and Bonds, making it an ideal time to start a clean slate regarding your debts and shared finances. You may have been struggling to navigate some tangled webs involving certain partnerships or have become more aware of how you’re connected to others—and if you feel you’re in over your head, now is a great time to set intentions to rectify those situations. This period will also likely bring awareness surrounding other people’s underlying motivations, particularly those you share close ties with, and it could open the door for necessary conversations you’ve been putting off.

Taurus

As the New Moon moves through your 7th House of Partnerships, this opens the door for you to renegotiate your current relationship standing. If you’re single, this could be an opportunity to start a new relationship—keep in mind the valuable lessons you’ve learned over the last few years. If you’re currently in a relationship, this could be a chance to address areas that need to be discussed, particularly areas of tension involving growth and change between the two of you. You know you have a stubborn streak, but use this energy to work out a sustainable compromise. If you’re obsessed with having the upper hand, you won’t have much left to work with.

Gemini

The New Moon focuses on your 6th House of Habits, Routines, and Wellness, and your approach to your health and schedules is shifting. This could lead to trying out new health plans, exercise regimens, or even healthier daily choices. You may also find you’re more task-oriented and detailed in your approach than usual, and actionable Mars pushes you to follow through in ways you previously didn’t think were possible. Remember that you don’t have to adhere to everyone else’s methods—you can find ones that work well for you and that matters most.

Cancer

As the New Moon lights up your 5th House of Romance, Creativity, and Pleasure, it’s time to fully embrace all your creative energy, especially if you’ve felt stagnant lately. This opens the door for fresh inspiration to passion projects and perhaps looking at things in a new light. In terms of romance, sparks are ready to fly, especially if you’re working on putting yourself back out there again. Playful, fun explorations can be extremely beneficial, especially with Mars nearby, ready to encourage you.

Leo

With this transit in your 4th House of Home and Roots, the question of what makes you feel secure will take up most of your focus. This period could have you revisiting childhood wounds that you’ve needed to heal from—if you’ve been avoiding them, it may be difficult to navigate. Learning to trust what makes us feel steadfast and secure is an ongoing part of who we are as people, and this lunar event will shine a light on the current places you find stability as you work to better understand why. With Uranus opposing in the 10th House, this could bring out some tension with authority figures in your life, but this friction could set you up for something better once you work through what’s keeping you tethered to these places and these people.

Virgo

With the New Moon appearing in your 3rd House of Communication and Close Community, it’s a good time to let your voice be heard, especially with those closest to you. This period could reveal patterns in how you communicate with those around you, and you may even be surprised at the reasons you don’t always feel seen or known as you’d like to be. You may also receive some clarity regarding your local community, notably whether you feel at home here or if you could benefit from putting down roots elsewhere. It’s important to step outside of our comfort zones every once in a while.

Libra

This New Moon is showing up in your 2nd House of Values and Material Possessions, so it’s a great time to examine the areas and things where you place your worth. What aspects are you relying on to maintain your self-worth, and what makes them feel integral to you? Additionally, some light will be shed on your finances and how you manage your income. Still, with action-centered Mars nearby, you have the motivation to create a plan that will ensure you can still indulge a little without draining your bank account.

Scorpio

As the New Moon appears in your 1st House of Self and Identity, it’s time to dig into the depths of who you are—sounds fun, right, Scorpio? With the Sun and Moon both in your sign, you have the opportunity to sit with all the sides of yourself, the good and the bad, and examine how you want to heal and move forward. Your ruling planet of Mars is also in your sign to give you the extra push to navigate your relationship with yourself (and your relationships with others, too). With Uranus forming an opposition in your 7th House of Partnerships, tension could be brewing amongst your close connections if they struggle to connect with who you’re becoming. It’s best not to waste time arguing about these things—it won’t be productive.

Sagittarius

With the New Moon in your 12th House of Isolation and Subconscious, you may need to take some much-needed alone time, and it’s warranted. This New Moon focuses on the parts of you that others don’t see and parts you may not even fully understand about yourself. However, avoiding these parts doesn’t make them go away—using this lunar transit to dive deep into your psyche and look at the patterns you have been falling privy to can be eye-opening. If you become aware of the negative aspects, you can learn how to let them go.

Capricorn

As the New Moon appears in your 11th House of Friendship and Networking, there is a chance you could realize the people you’ve been trying so desperately to connect with could be revealing a weak spot for you. With Mars in the mix, feelings of competition (on top of your already determined nature) could be putting a strain on achieving your goals. You may start to see some of your colleagues for who they are and what they are really after, but this can allow you to start a clean slate and connect with individuals who can genuinely help you get where you want to go—not step on your neck on their way up the ladder.

Aquarius

As the New Moon lights up your 10th House of Career and Public Image, you may feel more sensitive than usual about your career standing or public persona. Imposter syndrome often likes to show up at the worst moments, but this New Moon is shining a light on these insecurities so you can fully address them rather than take their word for it. Mars in close proximity may make these moments feel more aggressive, but it’s also an opportunity to push through and assert your authority. You also have a chance to reexamine what success means to you—and if you need to change course, this is a great time to take those steps in a new direction.

Pisces

As the New Moon shows up in your 9th House of Travel, Higher Education, and Philosophy, your belief systems and perspectives are under review, Pisces. This transit is ready to bring up how your beliefs have shaped you over your life—and if they have changed, it makes sense to examine what has caused these shifts. If you feel those beliefs are changing, this could signal a great opportunity to explore those feelings more, especially if the uncertainty has been creeping up for quite some time. With Uranus forming an opposition in your 3rd House, you may feel more inclined to look back on the days of your youth and find solace in what you believed back then, but remember—we grow and change for a reason, so keep those things in mind as you explore.
