4 Zodiac Signs That Have Every Right To Forgive Themselves

LIBRA

Libra feels there’s something they didn’t get to, someone they left behind, something they gave up on. Instead of realizing that life requires us to make a series of choices, which in and of itself, requires us to not make a plethora of alternative choices. There is no time, no way to do it all, see it all, learn it all, or be it all. Libra needs to forgive themselves for ever thinking they could, for ever trying. If the desire is still there, if there’s a true passion project or relationship or career they still want to pursue, forgiveness comes in the form of positioning. It’s not what they didn’t do, but what they haven’t gotten to yet. There is still time to pick up the phone, sign up for the class, write the first page. But they’ll never be able to get there if they don’t free themselves from the guilt and shame they’re currently carrying.

CANCER

Cancer is always worried they didn’t do enough for others. That they weren’t there enough, that they didn’t provide enough support. Cancer is so scared of what other people may go through as a result of their inadequacy. They blame themselves personally when others suffer. But the truth is that Cancer can’t take responsibility for anyone else’s emotions or anyone else’s life. Cancer is a responsible and reliable friend, but that in and of itself isn’t enough to guarantee that the people in their life won’t suffer, won’t worry, won’t hurt. Cancer needs to forgive themselves for negative outcomes that were totally outside of their control, and for all the ways that hyper-focusing on others made them incapable of fully caring for their own needs. Cancer needs to water their own lawn before trying to alleviate a draught in the desert.

SCORPIO

Scorpio feels remorse for all of the heartbreak in their own life. The people they’ve rejected, and the times they’ve struggled themselves with being rejected. Scorpio feels that it’s their fault for picking or chasing the wrong people, for not getting it right on the first try, or the last try, or at all. But the truth is that Scorpio has followed and honored their feelings with honesty. When someone wasn’t a fit, they ended the relationship. When someone didn’t reciprocate their feelings, they didn’t repress their sadness and disappointment. Negative emotions are not something we ever have to apologize for, they are a part of life. How Scorpio responds to those emotions are where their true responsibility lies. Letting people down with grace, not letting a break-up jade or sour them to future romance. Scorpio can only respond authentically to their lived experience. They can’t call it quits on dating if they haven’t yet met the love of their life.

PISCES

Pisces feels like they’re too much in their own heads. Like they cause themselves more problems by overthinking everything, by being so sensitive to the complexities and conflicts within ourselves and within our world. Sometimes the weight of it all is overwhelming to Pisces. It feels like they will never figure out the answers to some of life’s most pressing and terrifying questions, but they need to forgive themselves for putting pressure on themselves to have such unrealistic answers in the first place. They cannot be a rocket scientist, nobel laureate, theologian of all religions, etc. etc. etc. all at once. They will have to come to terms with their own inherently human lack of understanding and learn to live in the grey.  We will never have all the answers, but that doesn’t mean we have to be ashamed or afraid of our own asking.
