4 Zodiacs Closing A Major Chapter During The Libra Full Moon (4/12)

It’s been an intense eighteen months, both on a collective level as the world has grappled with huge, existential questions about the necessity of war and peace, individuality and community.

This is all down to the Aries-Libra eclipse cycle, which began like a battering ram on April 19, 2023 at 29° Aries, and ended recently on March 29, 2025 at 9° Aries, bookending an undeniably depressing period in human history marked by many wars, riots, acts of terrorism, and strength through resilience.

If the cardinal signs thought they were out of the woods now that the eclipse cycle is falling on the Pisces-Virgo axis, I’ve got some bad news. While the final solar eclipse in Aries has come and gone, there’s still a Libra full moon, falling at 23° of the sign of justice, to get through. This so-called Pink Moon falls on April 12.

Libra, of course, is all about romance, companionship, and collaboration, in sharp opposition to its sister sign, Aries, which demands a certain level of independence. The new moon in Libra six months ago was also a solar eclipse, occurring at 10° on October 2, 2024.

If you have any significant placements in the latter degrees of any of the following signs, think back to what you were doing, who you were partnered with, and how you were viewing your relationships in early autumn. You can expect that this lunar event will leave its mark, answering questions that you began to ask in October.

That said, all of the cardinal rising signs should look out for changes to the areas of their chart ruled by Libra.

Aries.

With the full moon illuminating any major relationships in your life, be they romantic, platonic, or business, you’re bound to learn some truths about the people you surround yourself with on a personal, intimate level every day. If you began a new relationship back in the fall, you might find the honeymoon phase is fading now—or, on the other hand, you might choose to take the next step in commitment, whatever that means for the two of you. While breakups are possible under this transit, they’re certainly not inevitable; if you have a solid relationship with anyone, you can deepen the connection during the full moon and clear up any uncertainty.

Cancer.

The full moon is shedding light on your origin story, whether you’ve been trying to run from it or not. As attention is drawn to your private, domestic fourth house, you will be focused on the individual members of your family as well as the way you all function as a single unit. Dynamics within the family system are always in flux, and this is as good a time as any to draw nearer, get closer, and go deeper with your spouse, parents, grandparents, and siblings. If the enormity of change transformed your family life back in the fall, and you’ve been feeling out of step ever since, it’s important to get intentional about making time for your loved ones. For instance, some new moms and dads might be struggling to make time for date nights. Reignite the spark by scheduling a staycation just for the two of you.

Libra.

For the past six months, you’ve been undergoing a transformation that encompasses both the external and the internal; the full moon highlighting your first house promises that you will likely experience a glow-up, or at least feel the impulse to try something new with your appearance. Treat yourself to some small luxuries, within reason; keep in mind that deep emotional fulfillment is not always found in material items but in experiences. Your Venusian heart longs to share them with a romantic partner or best friend, so grab your favorite person and invite them with you for a spa day or a weekend trip upstate.

Capricorn.

As the full moon pours its light out on your tenth house, your professional reputation and, indeed, your long-standing legacy, are brought to the forefront. If you began a difficult project for work back in the fall, you’re likely to complete it now and be celebrated for your achievements. Congratulate yourself on a job well done. If you started gunning for a promotion, you’ll probably receive news—whether it’s good or bad depends entirely on your perspective. Whatever is meant to be will be.
