4 Zodiacs Who Feel Misunderstood (But Are Totally Predictable)

Capricorn

Capricorn feels severely misjudged as the sign who just “works to work”, the person people stop inviting out because they assume they’re always busy, the one who can never just “unplug”. Capricorn gets hung up over the fact that no one truly understands their motivation, the performance anxiety, the fear of failure, an event from their childhood or family history that has forever ruined the idea of ‘work life balance’ for them. While the average Joe may not have ready access to every piece of the Capricorn puzzle, the big picture is fairly simple to assess — they’re not in the slog because they enjoy it, but because they are determined to make it through to the other side. To not get stuck in the muck, paralyzed and sinking into a pit they’ll never be able to climb out of. Capricorn has a destination in mind, and everyone with two eyes can see they’re bound to make it there.

SCORPIO

Scorpio sometimes feels like all they are good for is giving people a story to tell. That one good kiss, the one that got away, the one they thankfully got away from, and on and on et cetera, et cetera. Scorpio feels like they get the short end of the stick every time, that the people they encounter assume it’s a fair exchange, that they too become a story in Scorpio’s vast collection of conquests, but Scorpio is just dying to be taken seriously, to be seen as anything but an anecdote, and instead protagonize the plot as someone’s life partner. What they fail to realize is that this seriousness is part of their allure. People readily recognize that Scorpio will get back on that horse, not because it gives them pleasure to string casual relationships together, but because they’ll never lose hope that their soulmate is somewhere out there waiting for them.

CANCER

Cancer thinks no one sees below their surface, that their facade and gentile manners shield the inner mechanism of their heart and mind from the world. They assume no one checks on them or babies them because there’s never anything wrong with them. That their smiles paint a pretty picture for the world free of frustration, grief, anguish, or any other negative emotion. What they fail to realize is that they are constantly radiating strength. People don’t assume they lead a life devoid of conflict, instead they see Cancer’s calm surface as the result of inner work and awareness. They see Cancer’s honest and open nature, and believe that Cancer would be just as forthcoming with the negatives of their reality as the positives. They don’t ask Cancer if they need help, not because they think it’s not needed, but because they assume Cancer is mature enough to ask for it themselves. 

VIRGO

Virgo thinks no one understands what it takes to reach their level of perfection. That they end up running the show in every social or professional setting because no one else is willing to take up the mantle of responsibility for the group. That they simply aren’t cut out for the effort or attention to detail required to produce exceptional results. The truth is that everyone just knows how particular Virgo is, and how much value Virgo assigns to those particularities. It’s easier to hand over the reigns to Virgo than to try and intuit each and every one of their preferences. Why spend the time planning a tropical beach vacation, when Virgo will just want to scrap the work and create an itinerary for a European metropolis instead. When compromise is a near impossibility, it’s easier to just step aside and let Virgo call the shots without creating any conflict.
