4 Zodiacs Whose Love Lives Will Be Most Affected By 2023’s Venus In Virgo

After the longest spell in Leo, Venus has finally made her way into Virgo—and a shift will certainly be noticed.

On October 8th, Venus entered the practical, adaptable Earth sign of Virgo, where it will remain until November 8th. Virgo is mostly known for its consistency and practical solutions to whatever problem may be on the horizon. Virgo loves a project and loves to see things through, even if things don’t always run smoothly.

Venus has spent quite a while in the vibrant fire sign of Leo due to a retrograde earlier this summer. Now, things feel a little calmer—and in need of some serious attention. While Venus in Leo may have stirred up some relational drama and pushed you to go big and bold, Venus in Virgo is having you build a stronger foundation for your relationships to thrive upon.

Venus in Virgo can be misunderstood because Venus’ traditional associations of love and beauty are often linked to romantic displays and indulging in finer things for the sake of it—things that aren’t always in Virgo’s wheelhouse. Virgo is all for the practical and is more likely to show its adoration through service and hard work rather than grand gestures of romance. Truthfully, though, Venus in Virgo can go a long way in helping us focus on the overlooked aspects of love and relationships, especially when it appears in a relationship-oriented house in our charts.

While Venus in Virgo will affect all the signs, some will notice some shifts in their relationships over the next few weeks. Take a look at your sign below to see which signs will have their relationships most affected by Venus in Virgo.

Virgo (Rising, Sun, Moon, Venus)

That’s right, Virgo—it’s your relationship moment! While we may be past your season, Venus is ready to help you take some of those lessons you learned earlier this year and apply them to your relationships. Venus can be known to struggle in your sign at times—Venus loves being extravagant and open, you prefer to be more practical and reserved—but that doesn’t mean you don’t know how (or enjoy) expressing affection with the people you cherish. It’s important, though, to remember that you are important, too. Venus in your 1st House of Self and Identity will nudge you towards a better sense of self-acceptance and self-image. Your needs and wants are valid, and the best way to nurture your relationships isn’t through unyielding burnout, but by communicating what you want, need, and expect so that the relationship can thrive. Otherwise, you’re going nowhere!

Pisces (Rising and Sun)

Virgo rules your 7th House of Relationships, Pisces, so Venus is right at home as it makes its journey through this area of your life. Venus in Virgo often means letting our actions and communication be clear, concise, and actionable—which isn’t always your strong suit. This transit may challenge your perspective on your relationships, but it’s not meant to be an overly critical scenario—it’s simply a good time to see where things can be improved in your relationships. It doesn’t hurt to let your feelings and thoughts be known to the people you love, and finding ways to show up and come through for others is likely a big theme. While you may feel tempted to project your hopes and desires onto others, be sure you’re being clear and communicating those ideas—it’s not fair to others for you to keep everything tucked inside and not be transparent.

Aquarius (Rising and Sun)

With Venus shifting into your 8th House of Bonds and Shared Resources, you may feel pretty exhausted from the focus on your relationships—but Venus would like to make things a little more interesting if you’ll allow it. During Virgo season, you likely experienced some conversations and perspectives regarding your bonds and connections to those you care for, but Venus is having you continue this theme and maybe even push you to explore intimacy a little further (and in newer ways) than you have been lately. As Venus loves to indulge, you may find yourself desiring a more intense connection, but feeling unsure of how to go about it. Venus in Virgo reminds you that the practical can be romantic, too. You’re allowed to show your care and affection through service and consistency—just make sure you and your partner are on the same page about what they need from the relationship, too.

Taurus (Rising and Sun)

Venus has finally arrived in your 5th House of Creativity, Romance, and Pleasure, so take advantage of the heat! You may feel more enlivened and passionate and more creative in terms of how you want to show your affection. Romance may feel more open and accessible than it previously has been, and with Venus serving as your ruling planet, it makes sense to lean into the inspiration and creativity it wants to bestow on you and your connections. Don’t be afraid to explore new connections or new ways to enrich your relationships!
