The Only Three Zodiacs You Should Let Watch Your Dog

Your dog is part of your family. Heck, you might be so bonded to your furry pup that you feel like they’re your kid and you’re the parent. With such an important family member, you’ll want to pick someone you can trust to watch them when you’re out of town. Not everyone can handle the pressure, though. You’ll want someone who’s both a dog-lover and incredibly responsible. With those requirements, there are three zodiac signs that are perfect for the job.

Taurus

Not only do Tauruses love dogs, but they’re also super reliable when it comes to doing favors for friends and family. The Taurus in your life will take the job seriously, making a note of all your dogs rules, when they’re supposed to feed them, and what to do if there’s an emergency. They might even take the dog home with them if that’s something you want. Expect to come to a happy, healthy, well-loved dog who got lots of great hugs and walks while you were gone. You might as well keep your Taurus friend in your regular rotation for the next time you leave town, too.

Capricorn

Capricorns are some of the most responsible signs in the zodiac. They’re in charge not only when it comes to their own lives, but with the responsibilities they take on from friends and family as well. Sure, they might hound you with questions before you leave on your trip (“How are they around other dogs in the park? Who’s their veterinarian? How many is too many treats per day?”), but that just means they’re being thorough. When a Capricorn agrees to do a friend a favor, they’re committed to doing it right.

Pisces

Pisces love dogs. Really, they love pretty much all animals. They’re the ones hugging every pet they meet on a trail or spending the afternoon cuddling kittens at a cat cafe. If you ask a Pisces to watch you dog while you’re gone, you know they’ll take it seriously. The only thing you have to worry about is your dog suddenly liking your Pisces friend more than you when you get back. You’d be mad at the mutiny of it all if it didn’t mean that your dog had such a great time under their care.
