Choose Your Zodiac Sign And Get A Spring Cleaning Task

Aries: Wardrobe

Aries, it’s time to finally tackle cleaning out your closet. Start by going through each piece of clothing, shoes, and jewelry, figuring out what to trash and what to donate. Once you’ve gotten rid of as much as you can, reorganize the things you have left – it might be time to purchase new hangers or closet shelf organizers. Have fun with it, Aries – make a system that helps you pick out an outfit faster in the morning or organize your clothes by color.

Taurus: Deep clean

Taurus, you love making your home comfy and cozy. Before you start focusing on the aesthetics, it’s time for you to deep clean your shelves and surfaces – dusting, sweeping, mopping, wiping down, and polishing whatever needs a little TLC. Plus, this will set the stage for some new seasonal decorations to be added to your sparkly-clean space.

Gemini: Digital wipe

Gemini, you’ve probably got a lot of texts, emails, and photos to sort through. It’s time to dig through all your devices and do a little reorganizing. Make backups of all your devices, clear out your storage, update your apps and software, and organize your desktop documents into folders. Once you’ve cleared out your inbox, sorted your digital files, and secured your storage, you can also give your devices a physical cleaning – probably a good idea if your keyboard hasn’t been cleaned in a while.

Cancer: Kitchen

Cancer, it’s finally time for you to tackle cleaning out your kitchen. Cupboards, fridge and freezer, pantry, and whatever clutter you’ve got in your drawers. You’re about to make cooking and baking a whole lot easier (and maybe make room for a few new cookware supplies) – and don’t forget to check the expiry dates on any pantry items you’ve been hoarding for a while. As you clean, wipe down your shelves and counters, clean out your oven, or wipe down your grill so your kitchen feels completely fresh the next time you put on your chef’s hat.

Leo: Living room

Leo, it’s time to refresh your style in the place where guests will see it most. Take stock of what you want to refresh and what you want to keep – as you clean, rearrange shelving displays and remove old items you don’t want out anymore. Then, swap out the pieces you want to update. Even a few small item replacements can completely change the feel of your space – and you’ll be ready to host parties all season long.

Virgo: Overlooked items

Virgo, for you, a spring clean means a serious clean. Pay attention to the items that normally might be missed even in a generous cleaning session. Baseboards, moldings, light fixtures, and railings should be the focus of a solid dusting and wiping. You can also use this time to tackle other small repairs like minor paint or floor touchups. You’d be surprised at how much of a difference the tiny details like these can make – you’ll feel like you just moved into a new home.

Libra: Desk

Libra, you need to tackle a deep clean of your desk this season. Go through all the items on your desktop first, getting rid of as much as possible so that you have more space to work with. Drawers, shelves, and cabinets are next – sort through any old papers you no longer need, get rid of random projects you’ve been storing for way too long, and organize the things you actually want to keep. Make sure you create a new system for yourself so you have everything you regularly need on hand (and know where all your important documents are, too).

Scorpio: Books and bookshelves

Scorpio, it’s finally time for you to make some room on those crowded shelves of yours. Go through all your titles to see which ones you want to keep and which you want to donate (and don’t forget to wipe down your shelves while you’re at it). Then, organize your books however you see fit – whether you’re a color-coding maniac or want to display some cool artwork alongside your favorite titles, there aren’t any rules to follow when it comes to the perfect shelving display.

Sagittarius: Outdoor spaces, indoor plants

Sagittarius, it’s time for you to clean out whatever outdoor space you’ve got – whether that’s window boxes or a full backyard. Clean off the patio, wash your windows, dust off your outdoor furniture, and weed your garden. After all, there’s no better season than spring to prepare your outdoor areas for the upcoming warm weather – you’ll want to have things cleaned out so they’re usable all spring and summer long. If you’re not someone who has a lot of outside area to access, clean up your indoor plants instead – repotting, trimming leaves, fertilizing, propagating, and getting rid of any that need to be composted.

Capricorn: Papers and files

Capricorn, when was the last time you sorted through all of your physical papers and files you have in your home? Whether you keep old receipts and checks on hand for way too long or just have a bunch of printouts from work you still haven’t gotten rid of, chances are there are at least a few paper copies you’ve overlooked. Spring is the perfect time to sort through all of your files and recycle (or shred) what’s no longer serving you.

Aquarius: Workspace

Aquarius, whether you’re working with a home office or a workshop, it’s time for you to get cleaning. Sort through your old projects and organize them as best as possible, getting rid of anything you no longer need. You might even want to start up a new organization system for yourself (and your tools) so that you can get working without a massive mess catching up to you every time you’re in the zone. For you, Aquarius, physical organizers might be best to help you visualize where everything is at once.

Pisces: Bedroom

Pisces, your room should be a sanctuary for you – and not just because you need a quiet place to dream. You’re a creative sign, and your bedroom best reflects your state of mind – when it’s cluttered, you feel cluttered, too. Change your sheets, go through any storage you’ve got in the bedroom, clean out under your bed, and wipe down any shelving or drawers you have with you. Once you’re done, you can reward yourself by doing a little redecorating, helping you refresh your mind for the new season.
