The moon is in the diplomatic air sign Libra, which encourages us to seek fairness and balance and what benefits our relationships (with each other and ourselves). Today, it forms a harmonious trine to Jupiter (the planet of abundance and growth) in Gemini, which can open doors to more social invitations and give us a healthy dose of optimism. This transit is ideal for examining our opportunities and putting ourselves out there!

Later, however, the moon squares Venus (the planet of love, beauty, and finances) in Capricorn, which can throw a wrench in developing deep emotional bonds and leave us more frustrated. We may struggle to enjoy or participate in pleasurable things entirely and feel blockages regarding our creative side. It’s best for us to be aware so that we aren’t making promises we can’t keep and to be practical about the opportunities we are provided.

Aries

Can you have it all, Aries? You’re asking yourself this question today. Your personality and opinions capture enough attention that you’re getting invited to plenty of events, and people seek you out for perspective. The social connections you’re making don’t hurt either. It feels good to be on top. However, saying yes to everything could cost you—you could be offered a big opportunity at work that you can’t commit to fully or may not do the best job handling as you try to balance it all. Remember that it’s nice to be thought of, but accepting everything isn’t always the right choice.

Taurus

You have the skills, Taurus, but that doesn’t mean they will be applicable everywhere. You start the day with a realization that your talents and abilities may be worth more than you realized—while you don’t always have to monetize your craft, sometimes it can be worth it if you see a good opportunity. The confidence may put an extra pep in your step, but be aware that it won’t always be instant success. Later in the day, whether it’s discouragement from someone or things not shaping out as you expected, you may feel tempted to throw in the towel if things don’t take off at lightning speed. Some things take time to grow and flourish, and not everyone will appreciate it, but that doesn’t mean you should give up—today is just the start. 

Gemini

You feel most like yourself when you’re creating something, and the inspiration is truly an expression of who you are as a person. Cancer

Leo

However, know it could cost you by taking a toll on your physically and emotionally—even financially. Be more intentional about what you’re committing to; otherwise, your FOMO may run you right into the ground. 

Virgo

You’re coming across opportunities to take on more at work, whether through extra hours or more responsibility, and you should be proud to have earned it. The additional financial security doesn’t hurt, either! However, this may lead you to have to set aside or miss out on something fun to accommodate for the new change, and it could leave you, as well as friends and love interests, feeling bummed out that you’re not as available as you previously would’ve been. Keep your eyes on the prize, or decide whether it’s worth it in the long run, but ensure you’re comfortable with whichever choice you make. 

Libra

You’re searching for your truth, Libra, but old habits don’t die overnight. You may be introduced to new ideas, or a more recent journey into discovering what you believe and how you see the world is helping you better understand yourself today, which can feel liberating. However, if these new views conflict with those you were raised with, don’t be shocked if family members, notably maternal ones, take issues with it and try discouraging you. Be firm in discovering what is right for you—it’s not easy to take a different path, but it’s worth it in the long run.

Scorpio

You’re getting in touch with yourself today, Scorpio. Healing and transformative work do not always come easily, but today allows you to access parts of yourself you’ve buried for quite some time, and you feel a sense of peace and relief at the progress of moving forward emotionally.
