How Each Zodiac Handles Criticism

SCORPIO (10/23 – 11/21)

Scorpio won’t let you see how hard they take your criticism. They’ll ghost the situation but dwell on the last thing you said to them, memorizing it until it practically becomes a tattoo in their mind. They don’t realize there is an alternate path where they actually talk through the situation with you, accept the feedback, and give you some of their own in return.

SAGITTARIUS (11/22 – 12/21)

Sagittarius can dish it and take it. If the criticism isn’t constructive, they’re guaranteed to clap back, pointing out flaws in their critic. But in scenarios where the feedback comes from a source of knowledge or authority, Sagittarius knows how to be a coached player. In fact, they’re known to thrive when given a well intentioned push.

CAPRICORN (12/22 – 1/19)

A Capricorn under fire maintains a perfectly calm and docile exterior, while internally plotting an exit strategy with a vindictive little cherry on top. They are the personal assistant you don’t want to piss off if you don’t want your dirty laundry out to air in Page Six. Don’t nitpick the person who knows all your passwords.

AQUARIUS (1/20 – 2/18)

Aquarius always assumes the criticism is justified, that they really don’t understand enough, haven’t done their homework, and have some fatal flaw in their own identity that creates a blind spot. While there are a few occasions where this is true, it shouldn’t be the default. Aquarius never jumps to conclusions and can rely on their convictions.

PISCES (2/19 – 3/20)

Pisces is immune to criticism because most people just don’t understand their interests or their taste. They’re used to being judged for being eccentric and breaking the social norms. Like Belle, they have no time to worry about the French peasantry when they are destined for Enchanted Castles. Amiright or amiright?

ARIES (3/21 – 4/19)

Aries can feel personally attacked under criticism. Their reputation is everything to them, so when someone threatens it, it can feel like a declaration of war, or at the very least a conflict without a resolution in sight. It takes true diplomacy to walk back an illy phrased comment to an Aries, so watch what you say.

TAURUS (4/20 – 5/20)

Taurus chalks any criticism up to jealousy. They know they are living the good life, and enjoy plenty of enviable benefits in their day to day. Anyone looking for something negative to say is just downplaying their own insecurities, and Taurus is too busy being happy to give it a second thought.

GEMINI (5/21 – 6/20)

Gemini can’t take the tiniest critique or it will, I swear, be the straw that breaks the camel’s back. They have so much on their plate, so if anyone wants to complain without first offering to lend a hand, they can bite it. They’re doing the very best they can and it is what it is.

CANCER (6/21 – 7/22)

Cancer is their own fairest critic, so if anyone else decides to share their two cents, they can handle it. They know what their flaws are, take ownership for them, but also know how to cut themselves some slack. Whatever it is, it’s not the end of the world, and they won’t let anyone make them believe that it is.

LEO (7/23 – 8/22)

Criticism is just part of the package when you roll as deep as Leo. Friend groups this big always have their beef, and when someone comes for Leo, they have 10 people ready to have their backs and jump into the group chat. With this kind of support, there’s nothing they can’t get over.

VIRGO (8/23 – 9/22)

If you have anything to say to a Virgo about them that isn’t songs of praise, watch out. Unless you have spent months planning this comment, and fully padded your defenses, they will bite your head off. But on the off chance you are actually justified in your critique, they will proceed to self-destruct.

LIBRA (9/23 – 10/22)

Libra is built to handle the criticism like an actor who is used to waiting tables and losing roles but also knows that eventually, something is going to stick. So if it isn’t this time, that’s fine, because it’s never the last time. They’ve got more to give and more risks to take. There’s little that doesn’t roll right off them.
