Why Each Zodiac Is Struggling To Feel Complete Right Now

Don’t feel complete? Feel off? Here’s the astrological explanation on why you don’t feel complete yet.

Aries

(March 21st to April 19th)

You’ve stopped learning.

Maybe school is over and you’ve lost your natural curiosity, or you couldn’t be less interested in your current classes. An Aries needs to be mentally stimulated to thrive, and if you’re feeling like your life isn’t totally together, it’s because you’re waiting to feel “settled” rather than striving to be better, and more knowledgable, each day.

Taurus

(April 20th to May 21st)

You aren’t presenting yourself to others well enough.

Though Taurses are usually practical and responsible, they’re also aesthetically and socially-driven creatures, which can land them in hot emotional water when their love for making things look a certain way replaces their love for, well, anything else. The weird reason a Taurus wouldn’t feel complete is because they aren’t presenting themselves well enough to others. They’re busy crafting an image that’s too far from reality, and it makes them feel unseen.

Gemini

(May 22nd to June 21st)

You lack self-discipline.

Geminis are known for being all over the place at times, and not knowing how to channel a lot of their passion and drive. If you’re feeling incomplete as a Gemini, it’s probably because you haven’t developed the self-discipline to maintain a routine, or tough through the more challenging parts of a job, or work on a relationship when it’s less-than-fun. This isn’t the advice you want to get, but it’s the advice you need. Your life will not become more boring because you’re beginning to be practical and realistic, it will become infinitely better.

Cancer

(June 22nd to July 22nd)

You’re being too passive with your emotions.

You feel so much, yet communicate so little honesty about how you feel. This ultimately culminates in you acting out in subtly aggressive ways, or having intermittent outbursts. To feel complete, you’re going to have to do what you’re ultimately a little bit afraid to do (okay, very afraid to do) which is be honest with your emotions, not only to yourself, but to those who have the power to either honor them or not.

Leo

(July 23rd to August 22nd)

You aren’t around people who respect you.

Leos are known for their sense of self, or in more honest terms, their egos. This is not always a bad thing (everything serves a purpose, in healthy moderation) and often when Leos don’t feel complete it’s because they aren’t around people who support the identities they take so much pride in. They need to be surrounded by those who not only love them, but also respect them just as much.

Virgo

(August 23rd to September 22nd)

You’re being too self-serving.

Virgos thrive when they help others, though this doesn’t always come naturally as their minds can so easily become entangled in their thoughts. They assume that what they want is to empower themselves and live their dreams (which are both true, and important) but ultimately not the end-goal. Virgos feel most complete when they’re doing something for the benefit of others – as long as they can fulfill themselves in the process.

Libra

(September 23rd to October 22nd)

You haven’t completely opened your heart yet.

Libras care deeply about two things: their profession and their partner. They think they are happiest when they are giving love, but that’s really because they’re happiest when they’re receiving love (and giving love is the best way to get it!) If a Libra doesn’t feel complete, it’s because they haven’t opened their hearts genuinely, even if it feels and seems like they have. They’re able to charm people on the surface, but when it comes down to their nitty gritty, day-to-day relationships, they’re disconnected.

Scorpio

(October 23rd to November 22nd)

You don’t have something to get fired up about.

Scorpios are the most intense signs in the zodiac, and though they try to tame their emotional ways, they ultimately won’t be able to. What Scorpios need to feel complete is something to fully immerse themselves in, and channel all their passion/anger/rage/love into.

Sagittarius

(November 23rd to December 21st)

You don’t have a home to return to.

This one may be surprising as Sagittariuses are known for being bona fide adventurers, but really what many of them want at the end of the day is somewhere stable and loving to return to. They want a community, a group of friends, or a place that feels like their own. This isn’t always obvious or instinctive, however, which is why so many of them overlook it.

Capricorn

(December 22nd to January 20th)

You aren’t thinking for yourself.

As Capricorns will do just about anything to feel grounded and secure, it’s common for them to adopt the mindsets, strategies and philosophies of those around them – almost to a fault. This leads to developing an inferiority complex, and then becoming unnecessarily competitive. If you’re not feeling complete as a Capricorn, it’s probably because you’re not asking yourself what you really want or need, or are too afraid of how much your life would have to change if you answered those questions honestly.

Aquarius

(January 21st to February 18th)

You don’t have room for anything but work.

Though work is the most important part of an Aquarius’ life, and their goals are the thing on which they pride themselves most, without any significant time set aside for relationships or hobbies or friends, they’ll get burned out quickly. Ambitions may be their first priority, but there have to be other things in the mix too.

Pisces

(February 19th to March 20th)

You don’t have any kind of stability.

Pisces think they will be happiest when free and expressing themselves through art or other mediums, but what a Pisces needs to feel complete is stability, routine, and certainty. This often comes to them through a well-matched partner, but Pisces also need to learn to give themselves some solid ground to stand on. This makes it much easier to come back down to center after feeling washed away by their emotions, or as though they’re always moving in many directions at once.
