Which ‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine’ Character You Are, Based On Your Zodiac Sign
🚨 Warning: Spoilers ahead! 🚨
Aries (March 21st to April 19th)
Adrian Pimento
After serving undercover for 12 years as part of the mob run by Jimmy “The Butcher” Figgis, Adrian Pimento is reinstated to the Nine-Nine and the squad quickly learns of Pimento’s intense and unpredictable ways. Pimento barrels through life headfirst (literally, as he refers to the head as the “hammer of the body”). He gives off major Aries vibes because of his lust for life and giving in to whatever his current impulse may be.
Taurus (April 20th to May 21st)
Madeline Wuntch
Madeline Wuntch was the commissioner of the NYPD. Stubborn and meticulous in everything she did, Wuntch’s greatest mission in her life was to make her rival Captain Raymond Holt’s life a living hell (lest we forget the Derek Jeter incident). If you are a Taurus, you are definitely Madeline Wuntch due to your steadfast, goal-oriented ways.
Gemini (May 22nd to June 21st)
Doug Judy
Doug Judy arrives on Brooklyn Nine-Nine in season 1, when he’s brought in by Detective Rosa Diaz. Later in the episode, it’s revealed that Judy is the notorious Pontiac Bandit, a criminal Detective Jake Peralta had been chasing for years. He escapes the Nine-Nine’s clutches and then continues to make an annual appearance on the show. Like Gemini, Judy contains multitudes. He is clever and charming, conniving but with good intentions (sort of). When it comes to Doug Judy, you are never entirely sure which version of him you’re going to get. But you know you’ll be enthralled.
Cancer (June 22nd to July 22nd)
Terry Jeffords
When we are first introduced to Sargeant Terry Jeffords, he is on desk duty due to a bout of instability following the birth of his twin baby girls. A doting and devoted husband and father, Terry was terrified about what would happen to his children and wife were he to pass in the line of duty. Basically, these fears got to his head. This is Big Cancer Energy, as Cancer often abandons themselves and their own dreams in favor of the safety of their loved ones. As the seasons progress, Jeffords eventually does get back into the field. That said, he still remains his sensitive, goofy, and protective self.
Leo (July 23rd to August 22nd)
Gina Linetti
If there is one character in the Brooklyn Nine-Nine universe who screams Leo, it has to be Gina Linetti. Incredibly fierce and always ready to be the center of attention, Gina knows how to make an entrance and keep all eyes on her at all times. Whether she’s dancing, tweeting, or becoming YouTube famous, Gina demands to be worshiped. And everyone around her can’t help but oblige.
Virgo (August 23rd to September 22nd)
Amy Santiago
Organized, uptight, and borderline obsessed with office supplies, Detective Amy Santiago is as Virgo as they come. Deeply committed to her work, Santiago has a 10-year plan to become the youngest captain in NYPD history. No one could follow that rigid timeline without having major Virgo placements in their chart.
Libra (September 23rd to October 22nd)
Norm Scully and Michael Hitchcock
You can’t have a Scully without a Hitchcock. These two detectives have been on the force for decades and completely balance one another out. And because Libra is represented by the scales and all about harmony, it only makes sense that these two would be this air sign.
Scorpio (October 23rd to November 22nd)
Rosa Diaz
Intense, impossible to read, and truly terrifying, Rosa Diaz just screams Scorpio. She doesn’t want anyone to know her until they’ve proven themselves to be trustworthy. She has her walls built up high and refuses to let anyone past her barricades until they’ve earned it.
Sagittarius (November 23rd to December 21st)
Jake Peralta
Jake Peralta starts off the series as an incredibly talented detective who can’t figure out how to grow up. He is quick to give into his impulses and is mischievous. He doesn’t like to take things seriously and turns most things into a competition (i.e. Halloween, Jibby Jab games, the infamous bet that ultimately helps him realize his feelings for Amy). He is flighty but incredibly smart, fun, and curious, all elements of a Sagittarius.
Capricorn (December 22nd to January 20th)
Captain Raymond Holt
Captain Raymond Holt is steadfast, serious, and dedicated to his work. He is devoted to his husband, Dr. Kevin Cozner and their dog, Cheddar. He has a strong moral compass and has this be his guide in everything he does. Captain Holt is also prone to competitiveness at times, always wanting to be the best at everything (including a bomb-defusing course).
Aquarius (January 21st to February 18th)
Karen Peralta
Karen Peralta is Jake’s mother, who raised him on her own after his dad left them when he was a kid. She is an art teacher and is zany, peculiar, and flighty. She believes the “world is her canvas” which is absolutely an Aquarius thing to say. This is because Aquarians refuse to abide to the status quo and want to make their life their own, even if it goes against societal norms.
Pisces (February 19th to March 20th)
Charles Boyle
Deeply sensitive, loyal, and romantic, Detective Charles Boyle is as Pisces as they come. While Boyle can be overly trusting, he still has a profound attention to detail and is an excellent detective nonetheless. Boyle is deeply interested in the arts, particularly of the culinary variety, just as a Pisces would be. Boyle also loves hard and completely. Once you’re in Boyle’s life, you’re in it for the long haul.
