Aries

Your Card: The Magician

You might be depending on trickery or mind games to get the things that you want, Aries. To be fair, your intentions aren’t nefarious, however, your means of getting the things that you want are somewhat nefarious. There are other ways of getting what you want without being sneaky about it. Otherwise, someone will see through your intentions and start to distrust you even though you’re not necessarily a distrustful person. Just something to keep in mind. 

Taurus

Your Card: The Hermit

There is a certain area of your life that needs further introspection, Taurus. There may be a certain emotional pain or issue that you’re experiencing and even though you think you understand the cause of it or the solution to remedy it, you might be missing the mark slightly. The Hermit card is holding his lantern indicating that there is something in yourself not yet illuminated. 

Gemini

Your Card: The Hanged Man

Play a little devil’s advocate today, Gemini. In trying to understand the other person or people involved in this issue you might be having today, don’t assume malevolent intentions. Though what they did may seem wrong from your perspective, from where they are, what they did starts to make much more sense. Don’t cling to how they made you feel, but try and focus more on why they did it.

Your Card: The Moon

You are the fourth reading in a row that I’ve pulled a card from the major arcana, Cancer. For context, in tarot, cards from the major arcana represent major themes or indicate certain major changes occurring presently. I guess today is just one of those days for everyone, including you. With that said, your receiving The Moon tarot card is also quite significant in and of itself because your ruling planet is The Moon. You are naturally a caring and tender person. You are quite good at understanding your own emotions and what your intuition is trying to tell you. However, there seems to be some sort of disconnect occurring mentally and emotionally thus causing a level of confusion. You might be trying to suppress certain aspects of yourself you don’t love. Yet despite trying so hard to hide these things, they are still managing to find a way out. These darker aspects of yourself that you don’t love can’t be ignored or tossed away. It is a part of you. Like the relationship between the tides and the moon, your conscious and subconscious are intrinsically linked. Find a healthy and productive way to embrace this shadow and use it to your advantage. You can’t shame it out of you, all you can do is confidently accept yourself for who you are, and work with your nature not against it.

Your Card: Queen of Pentacles

Currently, you might be in a working environment where you find yourself trying to please your superiors to climb up into a better position. Or maybe you’re dating someone and are trying to show them that you would be a perfect partner for them. This could also be about a friend that you are always trying so desperately to please so that they keep you around. The point is, that you are trying to prove yourself to someone or something and they for whatever reason are just not impressed. So why are you putting your energy into this still? The Queen of Pentacles is a woman who doesn’t try to impress anyone, rather she is discerning towards people around her and as a result, others are trying to prove themselves to her. This is the attitude you need to start adjusting to, Leo. Not trying to prove yourself to others but letting others prove themselves to you. 

Virgo

Your Card: Two of Pentacles

Stop putting things off until tomorrow, Virgo. Tomorrow has yet to come and nothing is getting done. This might be the result of a feeling of paralysis. Where there is so much that must be done you don’t know where to start. But the answer is simple, start with starting. This sounds stupid but the thing is, starting is always the hardest part. I don’t know why that is but it’s the truth. Once you start, however, you build momentum and confidence to keep going. So just start. That’s it. You don’t have to finish anything in one day but at the very least start today.

Your Card: Five of Wands

You will never make everyone happy, Libra, so why do you continue wasting your time attempting to? It doesn’t matter what you say, how you say it, or what you do, there will always be at least one person who disapproves or has something negative to say. It is inevitable. So for once, spend today doing whatever you like and standing firm in who you are and what you believe. Because at the very least, you’re more likely to attract others who feel the same instead of exerting all this energy towards keeping the wrong people happy.

Escape into a different reality, Scorpio. While it’s insanity to live in delusion and completely disregard reality, it’s honestly good to exist in some sort of self-made fantasy from time to time. This can be done through creating art, getting lost in a book that you love, or a movie that never gets old. For today, escape to those places and forget about life for a while. Life will still be there, but if we’re constantly burying our heads in the sand without any escape, then it completely strips the magic of life away. So find that magic in some sort of fantasy.

DON’T ASK QUESTIONS YOU DON’T WANT TO KNOW THE ANSWER TO!!!! I don’t know why, but when I pulled the Two of Swords, this message immediately and urgently came to mind hence why it felt necessary to write it all in caps. So take that advice as you will, Sagittarius.

Do the thing that scares you the most today, Capricorn. It seems that there is something you’ve been putting off out of fear. And though you’ve put it off for quite some time or have told yourself this thing will simply never happen because it wasn’t meant for you, somehow you still find yourself coming back to the idea of it. You still find yourself coming back to that place just before you start where you consider the idea of taking that first step, yet always somehow convince yourself to back away. There must be a reason why you keep finding yourself on the cusp of this potential journey over and over again. In a way, you’re denying your destiny or inner calling. This time around, put that fear aside and go for it. You are being called to this for a reason that you have yet to discover but will come to realize once you take that first step. 

Aquarius

Work smarter, not harder, Aquarius. You’re doing more than is necessary right now and continuing down this path will only lead to burnout. You might fear that if you don’t do everything in your power that you can, then things won’t pan out the way that you want. That is not true, if anything you’re just wasting your energy. You are the sign of pioneering thinking. Don’t let whatever system is in place convince you that there aren’t better alternatives. Find the shortcuts then take a nap cause the job is done and now you have time to kill.
