What Each Zodiac Should Remember When Loneliness Strikes
Never let your loneliness convince you to settle. Never run back to people who treat you terribly because you are craving attention. Even though you might be struggling, it’s better to be lonely than to settle.
Loneliness isn’t always a bad thing. It can give you the opportunity to get to know yourself better. To get in touch with your emotions. To become a stronger, well-rounded human.
You aren’t alone because you are unlovable. You are alone because you haven’t discovered the right people yet. You are alone because not everyone was able to see your worth – but that is their fault, not your own.
You don’t have to be strong and independent all the time. You’re allowed to admit you miss certain people. You’re allowed to show the cracks in your heart. It doesn’t make you weak. It makes you human.
You aren’t going to feel this alone forever. There are people out there who will understand you, who will be there for you. You might not have found them yet, but they are out there.
You’re allowed to reach out first. You’re allowed to ask others to hang out with you. You don’t have to wait for them to do the work when you can do it yourself.
Even though social media might make you feel like you’re on an island alone, you’re not the only person who is feeling this way. There are plenty of people out there who are lonely right now too. You aren’t as alone as you feel.
Everyone has responsibilities. Everyone has busy lives. Even though you might not have seen certain people in a while, that doesn’t mean they don’t care about you. It might simply mean that they’ve been busy.
You’re allowed to be upset. You’re allowed to feel alone. Don’t push your feelings away and act like they don’t matter. Accept that you’re feeling this way, because the first step toward solving the problem is admitting the problem.
Remember, you’re in control of your actions. You can’t control whether someone else reaches out to you, but you can control how often you reach out to them. You can control how often you put yourself out there.
Every single person on this planet feels lonely at times. You aren’t the exception. You are the rule. So don’t convince yourself that there’s something wrong with you. Everyone gets this way from time to time.
This feeling is only temporary. It isn’t going to last forever. But you have to put yourself out there. You have to decide connecting with others is a priority and try your hardest to build new bonds.
