What Hogwarts House You Belong In, Based On Astrology
Aries
Slytherin
Are we really surprised? Aries element is fire and no one breathes fire down your neck better than Slytherin. Aries did not come here to play, they came here to win.
An Aries will fight first and think later. “To be in Slytherin, you must know what you want and fight for it”. Aries are a very decisive bunch. They are not one to play “what if” games. There is no back-up plan for an Aries. It is Plan A, and only Plan A. They will not think twice about stomping on others, if it means they get to climb to the top. Their happiness lies in their success. Slytherins care less if they are liked, but more if they are right.
“It is better to be feared than loved, if you can not be both.”
Slytherin’s value control and power over popularity.
Taurus
Hufflepuff
Hufflepuffs are known for being steady. No sign is more reliable than Taurus. They are people pleasers, that care more about having fun than winning. Taurus’s are loyal and have a strong solidarity.
Taurus’s are patient, practical and devoted. Hufflepuff’s are known for their extreme devotion and loyalty. Although Hufflepuffs are not one to stir the point, they will stick up for a friend in need. Loyalty above all is the Hufflepuff motto. Hufflepuffs are known for their hardworking attitude and “never give up” nature. Every day I’m “Huffling”.
“Those patient Hufflepuffs are true.”
Gemini
Gryffindor
Geminis are the sign of the twin and the split personality. They tend to be on the wilder side. Gryffindor has a tendency to leave everything to the last minute, but they always prevail.
Their courage brings them strength in chaos. Gemini’s need constant stimulation, AKA they get bored easily. No other house is more well-rounded than Gryffindor, they are either winning the “House Cup” or Hermione is schooling you in the classroom. Gryffindor loves the recognition of their accomplishments, but they are the still the “friendly competitive” type. No harm, no foul.
Like Geminis, Gryffindor is extremely social and people-oriented. Their social skills can sometimes become a distraction, but they all can work together to get the task done.
Gryffindor’s are known for their bravery and risk-taking. Geminis are the first to jump at something new, they hate routine and confinement.
“You might belong in Gryffindor, where dwell the brave of heart.”
Cancer
Hufflepuff
Cancer is the most emphatic sign. Hufflepuffs are known for putting others first. Cancers are happiest at home, because they are the happiest when they are with their loved ones.
A Cancer does not care where they go, but who they are with. Hufflepuffs are genuine people and care more for the happiness of others than winning. Cancer’s element is water, embodying purity. The water element is guided through “waves of emotion”. Although a Cancer can be logical, their heart usually comes out before their head. Hufflepuff’s can not be as cut-throat as the other houses, they would “feel bad”. Their integrity is worth more than any prize.
The truth about Hufflepuff is they are the most underrated house. They are the givers, that do not need the attention. Gryffindor needs their pride, Ravenclaw needs their intellectual superiority, Slytherin needs well… everything and Hufflepuff gives them everything and asks for nothing in return. Cancers are like that… they let other people win, because they do not need the glory. Cancers are simply happy with themselves if they are surrounded by their loved ones, anything else is extra to them.
“I think we should all want to be Hufflepuffs.”
Leo
Slytherin
Slytherins are born to lead not follow. Like Leos Slytherins enjoy being centre stage. They associate their happiness with success. Leo’s are far from lazy. They have the cunning and “do anything” determination as Slytherin. Leo’s value their ego…like a lot. They will break some hearts, if it means keeping their pride.
Slytherins are known for being dominant, no one is more dominant than the Lion of the zodiac. Slytherin talks a big game as they should, they deserve it. Like Leos, Slytherin’s are highly accomplished. Although with that glory comes an even bigger head. Leos are known for being a tad arrogant. We get it you are the best, you win….you always win. There is nothing wrong with being proud of your accomplishments, their pride drives their motivation. However there will be a time when winning won’t be everything. It can get rather lonely at the top. Remember appreciation is just as important as competition, it is more important actually.
“Those cunning folks use any means to achieve their end.”
Virgo
Ravenclaw
Ravenclaw is known for its wit and learning. Nobody loves learning more than a Virgo. Organized and conscientious almost to a fault. Virgos thrive on knowledge and order. Virgo’s are the “OCD” sign.
They need everything always “just right”. Virgos are extremely detail-oriented which makes them excellent problem solvers. Ravenclaw takes great pride in their accuracy.
Like Virgo, Ravenclaws can get insecure when it comes to criticism. Ravenclaw’s are so rarely wrong, and when they are it hits home deep. A Virgo is known for self-sabotaging. They can be too hard on themselves, and blame themselves far too greatly for their mistakes. Remember Virgos mistakes are our experiences, and we learn from our experiences!
“Or yet in wise old Ravenclaw, if you’ve a ready mind, where those of wit and learning, will always find their kind.”
Libra
Hufflepuff
Hufflepuff’s main traits are being “just” and loyal”. There is no other sign that is more “just” than a Libra. Libras sign is the scale, they look for truth and justice above everything else.
They are the most intuitive sign. Libra’s have a very unique social gift. They are able to put down biases, and step into someone else’s shoes effortlessly. Libras see all sides of the stories, sides you did not even know were possible. Some people like Slytherins may see this as a weakness, but the truth of the matter is no one is as understanding as a Hufflepuff. To the untrained eye, Hufflepuff may seem like the weakest link, but truly they have a gift that none of the other houses have. They have the gift of empathy. That trust will take them further than anything else.
Hufflepuffs are also known for avoiding decisions. We all know Libra is the most indecisive sign. Their indecisiveness is one of the main reasons Hufflepuff is so “chill”. In reality they would rather let you pick where we are going for dinner, because we honestly have no idea what we want. Hufflepuffs also have a history of hating change. The Hufflepuff common room has had the same rhythmic password for generations. Change can scare Libras, they like to be comfortable.
“You might belong in Hufflepuff where they are just and loyal.”
Scorpio
Slytherin
Scorpio’s main traits are being “right” and being resourceful. They can be mysterious, if it gets them what they want. They basically have the ability to be a chameleon. No other house is as clever as Slytherin. Slytherin’s house style is described as desire, active, and results-driven. No other sign feels the need for desire like a Scorpio. Scorpios are the most sensual sign. They are born passionate and assertive. Nothing stands in the way of a Slytherin and his needs. Scorpio’s intensity and determination fits them perfectly with Slytherin.
Scorpios are also not afraid of change, they really are not afraid of anything….which is why most signs are afraid of them. Like Slytherin, Scorpios thrive in competition.
“You could be great you know, it’s all here in your head, and Slytherin will help you on the way to greatness, no doubt about that.”
Sagittarius
Gryffindor
Sagittarius’s are big believers. They are known for being very idealistic. Sagittarius’s are very adventurous, they can be the trendsetters of the zodiac. Fearless think before they leap nature. Gryffindor is known for being the “Influencer” house. They take big risks to get big rewards. Gryffindor is known for their quick thinking nature. Nobody jumps faster than a Sagittarius. Gryffindor is a very “in the moment” house. They want to accomplish everything, but they do not always have the best relationship with time management. They are fun loving people, that scramble last minute. They are the “work best under pressure” types.
Gryffindor is optimistic and brave. No one sees the sun shinier than a Sagittarius. They believe in more than wishful thinking, but wishful action. If you believe hard enough in your heart, it can become a reality is a Sagittarius motto.
“Their daring, nerve, and chivalry set Gryffindors apart.”
Capricorn
Ravenclaw
Capricorns are the master of self- control. Capricorn’s are responsible and take their work seriously. Ravenclaw’s are very calculating and analytical. They are way too anal, to leave anything up to chance. They can be open to new possibilities, as long as they have researched everything they can about them. Capricorn’s like to be prepared.
Ravenclaw is less people-oriented than Gryffindor or Hufflepuff. They care more about their academics than their social calendar. They live by a resume not a journal. Ravenclaw is the most interested about learning. Knowledge is like a drug to this house. Although they do care for winning, it is knowledge over power every day for them. Yet knowledge is power, so it looks like Ravenclaw is slaying all days.
Ravenclaw is task-oriented over people-oriented. Many times this leaves people confused, because as quiet and focused as they can be, when they are excited you will definitely hear them. When a Ravenclaw has a new passion, you will hear them trying to teach and explain their theories to anyone who will listen. They have a contradicting personality, but the best people do. They are deep rationale thinkers.
“I think the answer is a circle has no beginning.”
Aquarius
Ravenclaw
Aquarius are known for isolation and being in their “own world”. Ravenclaw’s extreme focus can lead them off to another world. They have the ability to drop everything, until their point is made. Ravenclaw can become so lost in their passion. Yet, they are only lost to the untrained eye. They have this power to shut off the rest of the world, until they have reached their goal and it is inspiring. Many people may not understand it, but they are not really lost…they just prefer to explore alone.
Aquarius are known for being distant. They enjoy “soul searching” and solitude activities. They feel best and most accomplished when they do something completely by themselves. They feel a sense of pride in their independence.
Aquarius have an eccentric attitude. At times they can seem cool and collected, at other times their passion can be burning through the walls. Remember it is always the quiet ones that surprise us.
“To me Ravenclaws are not just the smart kids. Ravenclaws are people who are quirky, talented, and open-minded. Ravenclaws are people who would not really fit in with a lot of others. Ravenclaws are the people who are different and not afraid to show it.”
Pisces
Gryffindor
Dream big and avoid reality deeper. Pisces have a habitat called “escapism”. They tend to reach for the stars…. which is great, but sometimes their dreams can change far too often… like daily. Gryffindor also chooses passion over reason. They may be the bravest house, but the most rational…Voldermort no.
Pisces achieve greatness, because everything they do is truly their passion. Like Gryffindor their belief helps them achieve their goals. However their intent must be genuine, if not they lose interest far too quickly. It must be worth it to them, in order to obtain it.
Pisces hates being alone, which makes sense that they belong to Gryffindor a more social-oriented house. Although Gryffindor loves their glory, they know how to share it as a team. Pisces can be overly trusting, which can also be a Gryffindor downfall. Their idealism can take control over their logic far too often. Remember “the line between bravery and stupidity is awfully thin”. Risks do not evolve from your head, they evolve from your heart.
“But if it matters to you, you’ll be able to choose.”
