Which ‘Red (Taylor’s Version)’ Vault Track You Are, Based On Your Zodiac Sign
Red (Taylor’s Version) is finally out, and obviously one of the best parts is the vault tracks — basically a whole bunch of brand new (10-year-old) songs.
So to help you celebrate, here’s which new Red vault track you are based on your zodiac sign.
Aries (March 21-April 19): Babe
“Babe” is exactly how an Aries would react to a breakup. It’s not a sad breakup song — it’s angry. Taylor’s assertive, telling her boyfriend he “really blew” it (you can just picture an Aries telling their ex they really blew it). Aries are also super honest. Taylor tells it like it is in this song. As she says, she knows she’s a catch: “What a shame, didn’t want to be the one that got away.”
Taurus (April 20-May 20): Forever Winter
In “Forever Winter,” Taylor says she’ll stay no matter what the other person is going through (“I’ll be summer sun for you forever”), which is just like a reliable Taurus. Taurus are super dependable and stable, so you can count on them to be there through the good and bad.
Gemini (May 21-June 20): Nothing New
Taylor is up worrying in the middle of the night in “Nothing New,” which is typical for a Gemini. Gemini’s minds are always racing, and that can lead to overthinking and anxiety. Geminis also love learning and want to know everything about everything, so feeling like they don’t know something (“How can a person know everything at 18 but nothing at 22?”) would definitely make them uncomfortable.
Cancer (June 21-July 22): Forever Winter
Cancers are nurturing and compassionate, always empathizing with and trying to take care of others — just like Taylor tries to comfort the other person in this song (“I’d take that bomb in your head and disarm it). Taylor also says she’ll be “forever winter” if the person leaves her, which is totally like an emotional and sensitive Cancer.
Leo (July 23-August 22): I Bet You Think About Me
This song was basically written for Leos: “I’m harder to forget than I was to leave, and I bet you think about me.” Leos like to be the center of attention, and according to them, everyone’s always thinking about them. And they’re not necessarily wrong about that — Leos are hard to forget. Plus, Leos definitely don’t like anyone acting like they’re better than them (aka Mr. Superior).
Virgo (August 23-September 22): Nothing New
Virgos like to think ahead and don’t like uncertainty, just like Taylor in this song. She’s worrying about the future and wondering what will happen. This is something Virgos often do — stress about little details (but it’s this attention to details that makes them such good planners).
Libra (September 23-October 22): Run
Libras are obsessed with finding a partner and are often hopeless romantics (or at least serial daters). The song “Run” captures this romantic attitude, with Taylor imagining running away with her crush. And it’s even a duet with Ed Sheeran, so she literally has a partner singing the song.
Scorpio (October 23-November 21): All Too Well (10 Minute Version)
Scorpios don’t let go of grudges. And Taylor released the 10 minute version of this brutal breakup song that goes through every detail of her relationship 10 years after the breakup — talk about not being able to let go. That’s major Scorpio energy.
Sagittarius (November 22-December 21): Message In A Bottle
Sagittariuses are optimistic and enthusiastic, which fits this fun and upbeat song perfectly. It has a hopeful vibe as Taylor sings about a new crush: “You could be the one that I love, I could be the one that you dream of.” The person she likes is also far away (in London), and Sagittarius is the traveler of the zodiac and represents long-distance travel, so if anyone had a long-distance romance, it would be a Sag.
Capricorn (December 22-January 19): Better Man
Capricorns have a ton of self-control, so there’s pretty much no chance a Capricorn is going to go back to a toxic ex, which is what “Better Man” is about (“I just wish you were a better man, and I know why we had to say goodbye like the back of my hand”). Capricorns also want the best for themselves and won’t settle for anything less. As much as a Capricorn might like someone or something, if it’s not good enough for them, they won’t tolerate it.
Aquarius (January 20-February 18): Better Man
Taylor knows she’s better off alone than with someone who’s not good for her in “Better Man,” just like an Aquarius. Aquarians are independent and value freedom, so an Aquarius would have no problem leaving a relationship where they were being treated badly in order to be alone. In fact, many Aquarians would actually prefer to be alone in the first place.
Pisces (February 19-March 20): The Very First Night
Pisces love to daydream like Taylor does in this song. She reminisces on the beginning of a relationship and imagines what it would be like if she could go back to then: “I wish I could fly, I’d pick you up, and we’d go back in time.” This is just like a typical imaginative and idealistic Pisces.
